Rustic Eucalyptus Fence

Rustic Eucalyptus Fence:

This rustic fencing uses pressure-treated eucalyptus saplings of random height intervals and threads them with 3/8” galvanized steel rods. The poles are spaced approximately 1-2” apart, and then wrapped in Safari’s polyester desert sand rope. These fences are very strong and difficult to climb. Typically used as fencing for walkways, barriers for crowd control, load queue dividers, or residential garden fencing. Available in 4’ x 8’, 6’ x 8’, and 8’ x 8’ sizes, these charming fences can also be curved to follow the contours of walkways or pool and pond edges.

  • Appearance:    Random height (+/- up to 12″) eucalyptus poles are threaded with 3/8″ thick galvanized steel wire running horizontally through the poles. The poles and wire are then wrapped with “desert sand” dyed polyester rope.
  • Grade (Int. vs. Ext.):    Perfect for exterior applications, this product can easily be used indoors as well.
  • Comm. vs. Res:  Great for both commercial as well as residential applications. The aesthetically pleasing random top edge also dissuades patrons/guests from sitting atop the fence.
  • Durability:  Wolmanized treatment greatly increases eucalyptus’ durability outdoors. All of Safari’s eucalyptus is pressure treated for ground burial, and will last significantly longer above ground as a result. Other treatment options are available for special order. Life expectancy outdoors is between 12-18+ years, depending on climate. Rustic fencing is our longest lasting natural fence regardless of climate.
  • Size:   3 sizes available: 4′ x 8′, 6′ x 8′, and 8′ x8′
  • Materials:  Eucalyptus poles, dyed polyester rope, and galvanized steel rods.

Note: To ensure your fence has the longest useful lifespan and avoid accelerated rot, be sure to keep the bottom of the fence slightly raised above the ground level to avoid moisture being ‘wicked’ up into the fence.
