ViroThatch: Reed Stepped Umbrella Panels follow the aesthetic of some of the traditional thatching style prevalent in southern Africa. The distinctive stepped panel design imparts a very clean and sculptural quality to a roof, and can be ideal for applications where a more rustic aesthetic is less desirable. These same panels are used extensively with our umbrella kits. Like all of our synthetic thatch, this is available with 3 levels of fire retardancy, from a non-fire retarded, to a Class-B, and then a full Class-A fire rating! Finally an alternative to PVC with a comparable fire rating, and none of the toxic or UV/fading PVC drawbacks. HDPE (high-desity polyethylene) material is 100% recyclable, non-toxic, safe, UV stable and color-fast, it’s maintenance and pest free, and is unmatched in its authenticity!
This product can be used for both commercial and residential purposes. View some portfolio examples below for ideas for your next big project!
